How does the claims funding pool work? We set aside a portion of our revenue to help our members pay for high cost claims! If you have a health insurance bill greater than $2k for a single health event, we’ll help you pay for those costs through our “health reimbursement arrangement”! The amount received is up to 25% of the total health insurance out of pocket costs depending on the current status of our funding pool. $4 of your monthly premiums per person enrolled in our group goes towards the claims funding pool. Those funds are then applied towards any high cost claims mentioned above. No more than 20% of the funding pool will be granted to any single incident and each enrolled individual can only make one claim each year.
